Digital influencers shaping our style
Canberra Centre is this city’s premier shopping destination and one of Australia’s finest shopping facilities.
Morris Walker has been working with Canberra Centre since 2013 to help promote the latest trends in beauty and fashion for every season.
We’ve been successful in generating widespread media coverage surrounding the centre’s season launches and events by engaging media and social media influencers within the centre’s target markets and niche networks.
Our support has included media publicity and liaison, strategic communications, social media guidance, and event management services to secure strong attendance at the centre’s events from local media personalities, bloggers and influencers.
Canberra’s Guardians of Style
Canberra Centre is always looking for new ways to present its products, so a social media collaboration to launch its latest fashion collections provided just the right mix of intrigue, innovation and excitement.
The Guardians of Style social media campaign was designed by Morris Walker to leverage an activation of mysterious frozen models who made pop-up appearances at major attractions and events all over town.
A team of ten models, four make up artists, two stylists, a videographer and photographer worked together to pull each activations together. To make the mannequin look as authentic as possible, the models were carefully coached by runway experts on their positioning.
A detailed content calendar sat at the heart of the campaign and helped ensure fresh, intriguing and juicy teasers, tips and taunts were disseminated throughout the two and a half week campaign period.
From Skyfire and Enlighten to the Black Opal Stakes, the Guardians of Style showcased the latest autumn and winter fashion trends to curious onlookers with the aim of inspiring people to find their own style in preparation for Canberra’s cooler months. The hastag #guardiansofstyle was also promoted widely through social and traditional media channels.
